Onwards & Upwards
These past few weeks have been some of the hardest in my career. I was asked to end a 17-year relationship that was extremely important to me ❤️
Pursuing my dreams was seen as a threat. It's been hard to process, it's come with many emotions, and it's made me reflect a ton.
What did I do wrong? Why did this happen? How do I move on?
The reality is that I didn't do anything wrong. This happened because sometimes doors need to close in our life for others to open.
What do I want you to glean from this message? I want you to know that you should never apologize for having a vision, having big goals, or having a DREAM! I started to beat myself up about this; I began to get down on myself and apologize to others. And then, a good friend reminded me that we should never apologize for reaching our goals. We should never apologize for wanting more, doing more, or fulfilling our passions.
So if you are keeping your goals a secret, if you are not taking steps to achieve them because you are fearful of what others may think, if you are scared or timid to share your goals with others... Please use my story and me as a reminder. YOU can do anything, YOU are special, and YOUR dreams matter!
As for me and my future plans? They may be looking a little different than they did a month ago. But let me tell you, I am EXCITED about what's coming. And I can not wait to share it with YOU.
So buckle up and stay tuned cause we're only getting started!
