It's the Weekend of Giving Thanks...
I hope you are all having a great morning… filled with lots of warmth, love and LEFTOVERS!
I know I am!
However you chose to celebrate, I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving - surrounded by friends, family and completely “offline”.
Logging off and signing out is something we ALL need to be doing for ourselves #selfcare.
Today’s love letter to you, is going to be a simple one… of Gratitude.
“Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance” - Eckhart Tolle
We all have SO much to be grateful for. In our daily lives, in our businesses and in our Industry.
We are surrounded by some of the best and brightest minds in the world. We get to work with awesome people who empower us to be our best selves. We get to travel to events and make our own schedules (most of the time!)…But above all of that… We get to HELP people!
When I get wrapped up in the day to day craziness of Real Estate, and start feeling the dreaded overwhelm - I like to take a moment and remind myself of how extremely cool our profession is.
We get the opportunity to assist people in one of the biggest, most impactful moments of their lives!
From helping a young couple buy their first home, to moving our family friends into their second homes because their family is growing… And even helping people sell their parents homes after a passing… What we get to do everyday is important.
And reminding ourselves of how incredibly thankful we are that people choose US to help them with this pivotal life moments? That’s the power of our industry and our chosen profession.
Yes, our industry is STRESSFUL. Our Market is STRESSFUL. And if we’re being totally honest - people can be stressful! But stopping to remind yourself WHY you chose to work in Real Estate, is sometimes just the recipe needed to fall back in love with your career.
But today, I just want to share my gratitude to YOU.
I am so, so thankful that I have people in my life like YOU. People who “get” me. People who make my days brighter! And people who make me want to show up more, and be the best version of myself.
I am truly, very lucky to have you all on my team and to get the opportunity to speak to you from my heart every Saturday morning. Thank you all for always being my sounding board, my friends and even sometimes my therapists!
I hope you all continue to have a wonderful holiday weekend - and I hope my message will inspire you to jump back into work on Monday with a renewed love of what you do.
I promise, the work you’re doing is touching so many lives, helping so many people and above all - it’s truly important.
