The Jet Lag is REAL!
If you know me then you know my motto is "I'm not BUSY, I'm PRODUCTIVE"... but wow, this month has been busy (and very productive!) š
From Inman Connect in Las Vegas at the beginning of the month and C.A.R WomanUp! scheduled at the endā¦ to now settling my girl into her dorm for her last semester of College - My schedule is full of travel, conferences & events!
But let me tell youā¦ it is SO WORTH it. One of the most consistent questions I get asked by other REALTORSĀ® is āWhy do you go to so many conferences?ā
And I never know quite how to begin answering that question, because the reasons are endless!
Having the opportunity to attend events and conferences over the years, has been critical to my business. Both professionally, and personally.
Being able to stay up to date on Industry trends and continuously expanding my Real Estate knowledge allows me to take all of that information back to my Database and reassure them with FACTS about whatās going on in our Market.
Not only do you learn, grow and capture new ideas from our Industry peers and leaders, but you get to meet NEW people who are just like YOU! In my opinion, events and conferences are one of the least tapped areas that REALTORSĀ® can use to their advantage to grow their business!
I canāt begin to tell you how many of my BEST friends, and BEST Industry friends have come from these āevents & conferences.ā These are people who I can call at any time to mastermind and synergize with. They make me a better Real Estate Professional, and a better human!
Not sure if Events are for you? I promise, once you give them a chance, youāll find out they are. I encourage you to look at them differently; as a way to grow, expand and become a better REALTORĀ® for your clients. At the end of the day, Real Estate is all about RELATIONSHIPS. Whether thatās our relationship with our clients or our relationship with other REALTORSĀ® and Industry peers. And by attending events & conferences, you're building your relationships with BOTH. Plus maybe getting to have a little extra fun while youāre at it!
