I've been thinking a LOT about the people in my life...
We are officially in the second month of 2023!
Is anyone else looking around like "how did we get here so quickly"?! Because I am! It feels like January was approximately 4 days long...BUT - we are here! And if you haven't already - it's time to get the ball rolling.
2022 was full of its own challenges. For our respective markets, for our clients, for our businesses... and things slowed down - A LOT.
It got a little scary, and a lot of REALTOR® felt a little frazzled, burnt out, alone.
But, 2023 is here, the market is softening, and we have a lot of work to do!
However, and I promise I'm getting to my point here... If you're looking at the year ahead, and still feeling a little unsure of where it's headed - THAT'S OKAY. It's normal! I know I talk about having a plan and being prepared and ready for anything...But this is a tough career!
When I started in Real Estate, I knew I would be a good REALTOR® - but what I did NOT realize, is that by being a good REALTOR®, you also have to be a good Small Business OWNER.
And that leaves so many of us feeling alone, and unsupported. Because truly, even though we're all in the same industry, we are on our own!
Without organized systems, structures and SUPPORT - a lot of us end up feeling overwhelmed and unconfident.
Which is why today, I'm pushing you to find your Community! Trust me! YOU ARE NOT ALONE! The questions you're scared to ask, have been asked before! The concerns you might feel are specific to only you? Your peers are all having them too!
But the only way to connect and feel like you're not alone in your journey? Is by seeking out and finding a network of friends, Agents, peers, coaches and mentors in our Industry.
And the harsh reality is, no one is going to do if for you! It took me a long time to open up about my struggles early on in my career. I wanted to look like I had it all together, or that I knew EXACTLY what I was doing every step of the way.
But by opening up and sharing my struggles - I was able to find my SUCCESSES.And now, 20 years later - I am so proud to helping Agents around the nation do the same.
