Us REALTORS® are a hardworking, “no days off”, type of people.
From Open Houses, to Listing Appointments, to School Drop Offs, to Soccer Games, to meeting Inspectors, to… to… to… Our schedules could go on forever.
So how in the heck are we expected to run our businesses, help our clients, volunteer in our Industry, attend conferences, make it to every family event, and somehow find time for “self-care” and our own hobbies?
It’s all in the MINDSET of being PRODUCTIVE – not Busy.
And you can start building your productivity mindset by applying these three strategies to your daily life. (Trust me when I say they work, I’m living proof!)

Strategy #1: If it’s not on your calendar, it’s NOT a Priority.
Yes, sitting down and scheduling out your daily/weekly/monthly, calendar – does NOT sound like a good time. But it’s absolutely crucial for people like us who must remain highly productive at all times.
And this doesn’t just apply to your business meetings or doctors appointments. It applies to EVERYTHING.
How many times have you told someone you’d follow up with them tomorrow, and then remembered later in the week and felt guilty?
How many times have you heard the words “Lead Generation” and realized just how long it’s been since you actually sat down and called your database?
How many times have you accidentally forgotten about an important family event, recital or worse… pick up schedule?
Mistakes happen my friends! But guess what? They would happen a lot less if you had a calendar alert reminding you of your lead generation, business plans or kids sporting events.
But to start shifting your Mindset to becoming PRODUCTIVE, and not BUSY – you’ve gotta start prioritizing the right stuff!
