I hope you had the BEST. WEEK. EVER! I know I did!
If you know me… you know I never say I’m “busy” I say I’m “productive”… but man oh man, was this week BUSY!

I spent the week at the California Association of REALTORS® Reimagine Expo – and between presenting THREE different Keynotes AND C.A.R. Meetings – I think I walked over 10 football fields.

So this weekend I’m taking it easy, putting my feet up, and snuggling with my pups. And I’m giving you permission to do the exact same!

Maybe you’ll turn on a good show, read that new book you’ve been “meaning to pick up”… OR you can check out this weeks episode of Real Estate by Relationship® Podcast – where I sat down with one of my good friends, Timothy Reeder – and we talked all about the art of “Niching your Business Down”.

But before you tune into our business-boosting chat, let’s talk a little bit about what exactly “Niching Down” means.

For Timothy – it meant following his passion in life!

After he and his husband purchased a condemned victorian home in Omaha, Nebraska – they got to work renovating it. And as Timothy will tell you in our chat, it was a LOT of work. But throughout their renovating journey, he found out that he truly loves old homes. From the individuality and history, to the interesting little quirks of old homes – Timothy was drawn to them!

So, he decided to learn all he could about the old historic homes in Omaha, and the people that lived in them! He began building genuine relationships with the people in his area and connected with them over their shared interest and love for their homes.

And… guess what… It worked!

Timothy is now the leading authority in historic homes of Omaha – and he has turned his passion into his business. He niched down and focuses on helping his clients buy, sell and market their old and historic homes. This has lead to him building the Omaha History website, growing it into a podcast as well as an Estate and Business/Vendor showcase series. It has also led him to creating a team focused on Relationship marketing – which then turned into one of the top three Brokerages in their city.

But before you tune in to our episode, I want to ask you; If you could focus on ONE area of Real Estate – something you feel passionate about… what would it be?

Selling historic homes, helping first-time home buyers, maybe even specializing in farms or equestrian ranches?

Think about it while you’re listening to or watching this weeks episode and learn everything it takes to Niche your Business Down – and then take action!
