To all the incredible moms in real estate out there, let’s be honest—balancing the demands of a real estate business, family, and kids is no easy feat. I can truly relate to those who are constantly juggling multiple responsibilities in life.

I see you. I feel you. And I understand just how challenging it is to run a real estate business, one that often requires your attention 24/7, especially in this crazy market.

Those moments at the dinner table when you have to take a client call because a deal is on the line, or when you find yourself torn between being present at your child’s baseball game, soccer match, dance recital, or karate class while simultaneously handling a sizzling escrow—I first hand know the struggle of being in two places at once.

Even on Saturdays, when you try to take a day off to spend time with your family, but an important showing is scheduled for that afternoon, forcing you to break your promise to your loved ones—I understand the guilt and the tough choices you face. It’s a constant battle between feeling guilty for not being at home with your kids and feeling guilty for not being out there with your clients.

But here’s what I want you to know: your children see you, they recognize the tremendous effort you put into your work, and they are watching you more closely than you can imagine.

Whether they’re three years old or fifteen, they are proud of you, wholeheartedly. One day, they will understand the sacrifices you made, the goals you worked towards for their benefit. They will look up to you and say, “My mom worked tirelessly so I could have (insert amazing vacation or college dream here)”

I promise you, when you doubt yourself, when you feel like you’re failing your children, you are not a failure! This business is undeniably challenging, especially for working moms and dads right now. Remember, you’ve got this! Your kids are proud of you, even if they don’t express it openly.

As a mom who successfully raised amazing kids while running a hectic real estate business, I can assure you that your children will be okay. Make them your number one priority, while also helping them understand why work sometimes takes precedence. In the end, they will appreciate and recognize the blessing your business has been in their lives.

Wishing each and every one of you fantastic realtor moms a Happy Mother’s Day!
